A young girl has been left traumatised for life after a rogue crow swooped down and attacked her in broad daylight — and went straight for her eyes.
Yes, you read that right. A full-on avian assault in the middle of the street.
Eyewitnesses say the terrifying attack happened “out of nowhere” as the girl, thought to be around 10 years old, was walking home with a snack in hand. Classic mistake. According to bird experts, crows are smart as hell – but no one expected one to go full horror movie villain.
“It was like something out of The Birds,” one witness told us. “It just dropped from the sky, cawing like mad, and went for her face.”
Locals say the crow wasn’t just after food – it looked angry. It reportedly clawed at the girl’s head and even tried to peck at her eyes before passersby chased it off with sticks and shouting.
The girl was rushed to a nearby clinic, suffering minor scratches but a major fright. She’s now recovering at home – and probably never looking at birds the same way again.
Experts say crows are “unusually intelligent” and can even hold grudges. Some believe the bird may have been defending a nearby nest or mistook the girl for someone who’d previously shooed it away.

Animal control has been alerted and local authorities are advising people to avoid feeding wild birds — and maybe wear sunglasses. Just in case.
