
A 13-year-old boy was arrested after allegedly setting four vehicles on fire in Detroit.
The fires happened around 1 a.m. Saturday near Greenfield and Schoolcraft.
Police say a fire was spotted at a collision shop in the area by officers. Shortly after, another fire was found at a second nearby collision shop. Investigators say four cars were set on fire between the two locations.
The 13-year-old male was arrested in the area during the investigation after a short foot pursuit. It’s still unknown how he started the fires or why he targeted the two shops.
The ATF is now helping investigate the incident.
Detroit Police are reminding parents to watch their kids and know where they are, especially during overnight hours.
