A quiet morning turned into a nightmare today in the small rural community of Hickory Ridge, Tennessee, when a sudden and violent tornado ripped through a residential area—leaving destruction in its path and an entire home torn apart in seconds.
The shocking moment, captured in a now-viral video, shows debris flying through the air as a tiny house is lifted and torn open like paper. Sheets of metal, roofing, and furniture can be seen hurtling into the sky as powerful winds shred the building, leaving little more than a twisted pile of wreckage behind.
Witnesses say the storm hit without warning, giving residents little time to seek shelter. “It came out of nowhere,” said one neighbor. “One second it was raining, the next my windows were shaking and I saw the house just explode across the yard.”
