What started as a simple traffic stop quickly spiraled into a wild multi-state pursuit reaching speeds over 100 mph.
On June 28, a Pleasant Prairie police officer in Wisconsin attempted to pull over a driver for allegedly blowing through a stop sign. But instead of stopping, the driver hit the gas — and didn’t look back.
The suspect led police on a high-octane chase that roared across the Wisconsin border into Illinois. Dashcam and bodycam footage shows the driver weaving through traffic at dangerous speeds, even ramming into multiple squad cars during the pursuit.
Officers finally managed to bring the runaway vehicle to a halt using tire deflation devices. But the drama didn’t end there — after the crash, officers discovered the driver was allegedly in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
He now faces a stack of charges, including felony fleeing, five counts of 1st degree reckless endangerment, hit and run, and multiple drug offenses.
