A father who brutally attacked his son’s alleged rapist is finally speaking out – and he’s unapologetic.
The man, who became a viral sensation after he was caught on camera beating the accused predator to a pulp, says he has no regrets over what he did.
“I did what any dad would do,” he told reporters. “When I walked in and saw what was happening to my boy… I just lost it. Any parent would.”
The shocking incident unfolded after the father reportedly walked in on a man sexually assaulting his 11-year-old son. Overcome with rage, he unleashed a furious attack on the suspect, leaving him bloodied and barely conscious by the time police arrived.
Authorities later confirmed the suspect was taken to hospital with severe injuries and later charged with sexual battery. The father, however, was not charged over the assault, with investigators saying his actions were in direct response to witnessing the alleged crime.
Despite the graphic nature of the scene, the father says he wouldn’t change a thing. “If I could go back, I’d do it again – only harder,” he said. “I’m here to protect my family, and that monster got exactly what he deserved.”
Social media has been flooded with support for the dad, with thousands praising his reaction:

While some legal experts warned against taking justice into your own hands, many believe the father’s response was entirely justified.
“This is raw, instinctive parental protection,” one psychologist explained. “In that moment, the brain shifts to pure survival mode for the child.”
As for his son, the father says he’s focusing entirely on his recovery: “My boy is safe now. That’s all that matters to me. He’ll know for the rest of his life that his dad will always be there for him.”
