A TikTok video recorded in Panama has gone viral after a young resident claimed that a meteorite landed on his property before displaying unusual changes that some online viewers compared to a “creature.”
The footage, which has been widely shared across social media, shows a black, rock-like object reportedly found after a loud impact near the boy’s home. Believing it to be a meteor fragment, he brought it indoors and began documenting it.
According to his recordings, the object’s appearance altered over the course of several days. What initially looked like a burned stone began to develop irregular, organic-like textures, with small protrusions forming across its surface. In later clips, the object appeared to move slightly, leading to speculation and alarm among viewers.
Comments quickly flooded the platform. While some expressed genuine concern, others suggested it could be a staged production using special effects, resin, or crafted props. Comparisons were also drawn to the fictional alien symbiote “Venom” from the Marvel franchise, given the object’s glossy black appearance and apparent movement.
No scientific experts have yet examined the alleged meteorite, and there has been no confirmation from local authorities regarding its origin or authenticity. Meteorites do fall to Earth regularly, but there is no documented evidence of one ever exhibiting biological growth or transformation.
Despite the lack of verification, the story has generated significant attention online, with the videos accumulating millions of views. The case highlights both the speed at which extraordinary claims spread on social media and the ongoing public fascination with extraterrestrial life.
Until further investigation is conducted, the “living meteor” remains an internet mystery—one that continues to capture imaginations and fuel debate across platforms.
