Neighbors heard strange sounds coming from the destroyed house, and when the police arrived, they found something terrible in the house 😲😲
The police station received a strange call. An unfamiliar, agitated voice of a man reported that strange sounds were coming from the house next door. He did not know what exactly was going on, but insisted that the police come immediately.
A group of officers was sent to the scene along with a service shepherd dog. They inspected the surrounding area, knocked on several doors, and questioned neighbors. No one really heard anything – only one elderly man said that he heard a muffled groan at night, but thought it was a TV in the neighboring house.

The police approached the suspicious house. It looked abandoned: a sagging fence, a faded door, windows covered in dust. But when they went inside, everything became even stranger. In the central room, the floor was almost gone – the boards were crumbling, in the middle of the room there was a huge crack leading into the darkness. The air was musty, and it seemed as if the house was about to fall even deeper.
The dog froze. Then it barked sharply, began to dig the floor near the hole with its paws, without looking down. This was not normal behavior – the shepherd clearly sensed something inside the hole. The policemen exchanged glances. One of them took out a flashlight and carefully approached closer, bent down and shone it inside. What he saw inside the hole shocked everyone 😱😱
At first, there was nothing to see, just dust and debris. But then the beam of the flashlight caught something terrible: a man.

He lay motionless, down below, amidst fallen boards and earth, weakly pinned by the rubble. He appeared unconscious, his face barely visible beneath the mud.
It later emerged that the man was the owner of the house. A small earthquake had hit the area a few days earlier, and the foundation of his old, poorly reinforced house had given way.
Part of the floor collapsed and he fell through, hitting his head hard. He lay in the hole for several days, unable to move or call for help.

If it weren’t for a call from a neighbor… and if it weren’t for a dog that sensed his presence, he might not have survived.
The man was urgently hospitalized. And the shepherd, according to the officers, saved not just a life that day – it literally pulled the man out from under the ground.
