Recent photos of Donald Trump at the NATO summit have sparked a wild conspiracy theory online — and it all comes down to his height.
In the viral images, Trump appears significantly shorter than King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and only slightly taller than Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. For a man officially listed at 6 feet 3 inches, something didn’t quite add up — at least according to the internet.
Social media sleuths wasted no time jumping on the mystery, with comments like:
“He looks way too short to be Trump,”
“That… that is not Trump,”
and
“Why does he look 4-6 inches shorter than usual?”
Before you go full X-Files, experts have stepped in with more grounded explanations. According to them, everything from Trump’s posture, the camera angle, and even his shoes could explain the height discrepancies.
Still, that hasn’t stopped the “Mini Trump” theory from gaining traction. Some users have even suggested a body double was used for public appearances — something that, to be clear, has zero evidence behind it.
It’s not the first time a public figure has been accused of using a body double (remember the “Fake Melania” phase?), but as of now, there’s nothing to support the claim besides some odd-looking photos and internet imagination.
So until more concrete evidence appears, the short-statured Trump theory remains just that — a theory.
