A police officer has been jailed after being caught on camera rifling through drawers during a house search — but it wasn’t evidence he was after.
Instead, the disgraced officer was found to be stealing women’s underwear, shocking both his colleagues and the public.
The Shocking Discovery
Bodycam and home surveillance footage captured the officer — still in full uniform and hi-vis vest — rummaging through drawers in a bedroom. Rather than conducting a legitimate search, he pocketed underwear for his own gratification.
Investigators later revealed that the stolen items were discovered hidden away in his home. When questioned, the officer admitted to having a long-standing obsession.
