An Uber ride took a terrifying turn when a woman suddenly unleashed pepper spray on her unsuspecting driver — and the whole thing was caught on camera.
It started like any normal pickup. The driver greeted the woman, exchanged a few words, and began the ride as usual. But things escalated fast.
Eyewitnesses say the woman became increasingly agitated over a minor disagreement — some reports claim it was about the route or a request the driver refused.
Seconds later, without warning, she reached into her bag, pulled out a canister, and sprayed him directly in the face.
The driver was seen choking and struggling to see as he desperately tried to pull over. “I can’t see!” he shouted, clearly in distress.
She then exited the vehicle, leaving the driver disoriented and gasping for air on the side of the road.
Police are reviewing dashcam footage and social media videos that have since gone viral. Viewers are stunned by the randomness and intensity of the assault, with many calling for the woman to be banned from all ride-share services — and charged.
Authorities are now investigating.
