🚨 A Georgia mother’s worst nightmare came true when her baby boy was brutally beaten on his very first day at daycare.
According to authorities, 54-year-old Yvette Thurston has been charged with first-degree aggravated battery and three counts of felony child abuse after surveillance footage allegedly captured her violently attacking little baby Clay Weeks.
Clay, who had just been dropped off for his first day, was rushed to a nearby hospital for evaluation immediately after the horrifying incident. While investigators confirm they have reviewed the shocking video, it has not yet been released to the public.
What has left parents across the community outraged is the fact that Thurston was granted a bond of just $44,000—and she has already bonded out of Decatur County Jail.
Parents online are furious:
“💔 This is why I don’t trust ANYONE with my kids. How is she walking free already?”
As the investigation continues, families are demanding tougher protections for children in daycare centers and harsher penalties for abusers.
⚠️ Do you think her bond was WAY too low?
